The 2008 edition of Quadrum Saca saw the presence of numerous exhibitors from all parts of Italy - prevalently Tuscany, Lombardy and Campania – and from the rest of the world.
There was strong participation in the exhibition by foreign companies from all over Europe, Germany, Spain, Holland, Great Britain and France in particular. The same may be said for U.S. and Canadian companies, which promoted major innovations above all in the sector of special frame-making machinery.
The visitors present at the exhibition came from all regions of Italy, none excepted, with large numbers attending from Liguria, the Veneto, Tuscany, Marche and Apulia, as well as Emilia-Romagna; Sardinia and Sicily were also amply represented.
Foreign professional buyers came from around 80 different countries located in all five continents: the most largely represented European countries were France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Spain and Slovenia.
Quadrum Saca 2008 attracted strong attention from new emerging markets: there were many buyers from north African countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Libya and Tunisia as well as from Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey.
Eastern Europe demonstrated a great deal of interest in the sector, with buyers arriving from Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldavia, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Ukraine.
There was also a significant turnout of visitors from Australia, interested in taking a virtual worldwide tour of the frame industry.
