Quadrum Saca 2008QUADRUM SACA CONSOLIDATES ITS REPUTATION AS THE “WORLD’S MOST IMPORTANT MARKETPLACE” FOR THE MOULDINGS, FRAMES, GRAPHICS AND RELATIVE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES Between Thursday 14th and Sunday 17th February 2008, some 7,381 trade professionals (of whom 2,655 were from abroad) entered the Bologna Exhibition Centre to visit the stands of the 260 exhibiting companies (125 foreign businesses from 25 different countries) covering 31,000 square metres of exhibition space. QUADRUM SACA 2008 Gallery The three theme shows, Frames, Graphics and Technologies and accessories attracted gallery owners, artists, dealers, designers, manufacturers and frame-makers from all over the world, who came to admire the latest trends in mouldings, accessories, glues, varnishes, picture customisation products, mirrors, fine arts supplies, brushes, canvasses, easels, découpage and crafts supplies, posters, prints, reproductions and machinery for manufacturing and packaging mouldings, frames and passepartouts. A resounding success was enjoyed by the exhibition titled Wall in Progress, which occupied over than 500 sqm in hall 30. The exhibit aims to draw attention to the quality workmanship of frames and mirrors and the infinite ways in which they can be used in interior design and architecture. Frames and mirrors fashioned in numerous different styles will be the star attraction of this large exhibit, intended to mark the re-launching of the mirror industry toward new expressive, communicational and market possibilities and assert its centrality to interior design and architecture. A gallery of sensations, a display abounding in surprises and ideas for decorating interiors with mirrors and frames. |
